In this episode, Mike chats with Sharon Waxkirsh – Founder and Director of Academy for Hypnosis.

Sharon has successfully educated hundreds of dentists, physicians, and surgeons in hypnotherapy. Today, she talks about the benefits of hypnosis for patients and dentists, and also debunks its misconceptions.
In a hypnotherapy session, you are more in control of yourself, far from the misconception of people that hypnosis will let you be controlled.

Sharon explained also that patients are more often to consider hypnosis than dentists. It is because of their fear, anxiety, TMJ problems, bruxism, teeth grinding, clenching, gag reflex, and such things.

The most significant benefit of hypnosis for dentists is you’ll get more referrals, and clients will return and repeat sessions. It’s a moneymaker.

Finally, Sharon shares her number one piece of advice for anyone thinking about buying or starting their own dental practice.
